Elearning can reduce student frustration, build self-esteem and be more relevant to the world in which they live. At a September 17th Open House, Etraffic Solutions will show the power that its elearning products can have with students.
“I liked it (StudyBUZZ) because it helped him prepare for his final, boost his confidence with areas that he was familiar with and was easy for him to use with his dyslexia,” said Carrie Ferguson about her brother Kyle Robin, a student at Claremont Secondary School. In June, Kyle used StudyBUZZ, one of Etraffic’s elearning products, to help prepare for his Science 10 exam.
After establishing a strong export business during the first few years of existence, the company has recently developed several successful products for British Columbia students with Pilot Math and StudyBUZZ.
“Technology is a part of the world in which students live … they get it,” said Etraffic CEO Wayne Poncia. “Our products are interactive, engaging and fun for them. And that’s what the Open House will capture. Everyone will be interested to see the positive impact of elearning on students, teachers and schools.”
After a recent move into Victoria from its Saanich offices at the Vancouver Island Technology Park, Etraffic Solutions will host an interactive open house at its new office on September 17th. Mayor Alan Lowe will be on hand to address attendees. The event takes place on the Monday afternoon from 2-5pm with the Mayor speaking at 3:30pm.
The company recently purchased its own office at Suite 100 – 710 Redbrick Street. Councillor Helen Hughes recognized Etraffic’s move to Victoria as “encouraging the further development of Life Long Learning in the region.”
Space is limited. Interested individuals can RSVP by September 7th by phone at 250-658-8238 ext 27 or by email at cbreeze@etrafficsolutions.com.
