Grade 12 students in British Columbia can now use StudyBUZZ to help prepare for their provincial exams by registering for a free account at LearnNow BC. In addition to StudyBUZZ, LearnNow BC gives students free access to online tutors, workshops with accredited teachers and sample provincial exam questions. A new agreement between co-creators Etraffic Solutions and Edvantage Press, and the Province of British Columbia extended this deal beyond Grade 10 and 11 students to include Grade 12.

Students will be able to use StudyBUZZ to help prepare for exams in Geography 12, Physics 12, History 12, Biology 12, Chemistry 12, and Principles of Math 12. Principles of Math 10, Essentials of Math 10, Science 10, and Social Studies 11 have been available since January as a part of a separate agreement. As part of the deal, students will be able to use the popular StudyBUZZ for all 10 courses till the end of the 2007-08 school year.

"Thousands of Grade 10 and 11 students used StudyBUZZ through LearnNow BC in January to help prepare for their exams and now Grade 12 students can get that same support starting this June," said Etraffic Solutions CEO Wayne Poncia, a former district administrator. "Students will be use StudyBUZZ for 10 courses to help prepare for exams. LearnNow BC is helping to lead the way for students. StudyBUZZ aims to empower students and to let them take ownership of their test preparation. This agreement with LearnNow BC helps to make that goal a reality for BC high school students."

When students use StudyBUZZ, they answer online exam-style questions for each unit of the British Columbia curriculum to assess preparedness. Each student gets a personalized study guide that meets their individual study needs and gives them the information they need to master the provincial exam. Students can then target areas for more practice and review, and re-assess their understanding of key concepts before writing their exam.
